Welcome,
Some
years ago I knew a little boy named Seth Harmon. Seth was always saying
things that got him into trouble. For example, one day when he was at “Day
Care,” five-year-old Seth was playing with a pair of scissors. His teacher
asked, “Seth, you are supposed to have those?” He answered, “My Mama said
I could.” She then asked if she should call his mother. Seth
immediately replied, “No, don’t do that. I might be lying.” I am quite
sure that it was not exactly the answer she was looking for.
Life is full of
unexpected moments. Some are laughable and others are not. At First Baptist we
are people like you, experiencing life with its joys and struggles. We look to
God, through our faith in Jesus, and His word for life’s answers. Come join us
as we seek together God’s answers for our lives.
